Yes YOU!.. You know who you are. (or at least i hope you do)

Coming into class and trying to behave like a spoilt brat.. Or perhaps you aren’t just trying because bratty behaviour is already built into your internal circuitry.

Now if you were younger than me I’d probably discipline you. Or perhaps not, since you wouldn’t be able to comprehend the very notion of discipline and appropriate behaviour. But since you’re older, I’ll just leave you alone and hope something, somewhere, will eventually make you a better person.

I believe in giving people the respect they deserve. Yes, the respect that they deserve. Now, how much respect do you think you actually deserve? It makes me wonder. But then again, it would be quite difficult to derive a formula for the amount of respect you deserve since there is no real solution to begin with.

Please, rattling on end about your fetish with the latest edition of the Mercedes C-class or the way you just spent a sum of money equivalent to what the average salaryman (or woman) earns in a month on some object of your fancy isn’t going to win you much respect. It might invoke a green eye of envy here and there, but certainly not from me.

While I’m at it, please do quit complaining about the price of petrol these days. If you can afford the car, just buy the petrol. If you can’t bear to part with those dollars, just drive a smaller car or simply don’t drive at all.

Oh yes, and stop behaving like the world revolves around you. At the very least, please consider your actions and how they will affect your children. Maybe that ugly phrase of “kids having kids” is most apt to describe the situation.

I pity the electrons wasted on this post. But I certainly hope that you will come to your senses. Soon.
